A Lucknow-bound IndiGo flight from Goa was cancelled after a rat was discovered in the aircraft cabin. The unexpected cancellation sparked chaos as passengers expressed their frustration at the airport.
The incident took place at Goa Dabolim International Airport in Panaji on Tuesday evening when IndiGo flight 6E 6811, scheduled to depart for Lucknow, was cancelled after a rat was discovered in the aircraft cabin.
The flight was set to take off at 6:25 pm, but had to be called off after the rodent’s presence was detected.
All passengers were immediately deboarded along with their luggage as a precautionary measure.
IndiGo has arranged an alternative flight for the stranded passengers. However, many travellers have been stuck at the airport for over two hours.
