CSIR UGC NET cut-off 2024
The notification for CSIR UGC NET states that there is no separate cut-off for Parts A, B, and C of the examination. Instead, the cumulative scores from all sections are taken into consideration for the creation of the merit list. Ranks are allotted first to all candidates who successfully qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship based on the JRF merit list. Following that, candidates are distributed between the CSIR and UGC according to the ratio of fellowships allocated for each subject. A minimum benchmark has been established, requiring candidates in the General, EWS, and OBC categories to achieve at least 33%, while those in the SC/ST and PwD categories need to secure a minimum of 25% across Categories 1, 2, and 3.
