Actor Sharib Hashmi reflected on his journey in Indian cinema with a special post on social media. In an emotional post, he revisited the moment he left his job to chase his dream of becoming an actor.

Sharib expressed gratitude to the special individuals who supported him along the way and shared pictures from his very first photoshoot, marking the beginning of his career in Indian cinema.

Sharib Hashmi began his career working behind the scenes on MTV Roadies Season 2. In 2008, he made a brief appearance in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. His breakthrough came in 2012 with a prominent role in Filmistaan, alongside Inaamulhaq and Kumud Mishra. That same year, he played a supporting role in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif.

Over the years, the actor has appeared in several notable films, including Badmashiyaan (2015), Phullu (2017), Vodka Diaries (2018), Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018), Nakkash (2019), Ujda Chaman (2019), Darbaan (2020), and Vikram Vedha (2022). In addition to films, Sharib has gained widespread recognition for his work in web series. He starred in Amazon Prime’s hit series The Family Man and the critically acclaimed Asur.
