Clashes broke out between BJP and Samajwadi Party workers on Wednesday at Kanpur Government Inter College polling booth during the UP bypolls after a stone was allegedly thrown at the car of the BJP candidate. A video of the incident was shared by news agency PTI.
Tensions escalated as BJP workers staged a dharna outside the booth, raising slogans against the alleged attack. Security personnel intervened to restore order and ensure polling continued smoothly.
