The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to begin the counselling process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for postgraduate courses soon. According to the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Associations (FORDA), the MCC is likely to initiate the process by November 11. FORDA shared this update on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle. FORDA’s tweet reads, “NEET PG 2024 Counselling to begin latest by November 11. The 4 month delay makes the timeline for 2025 challenging.”
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the official schedule for NEET PG Counselling 2024 on its website. Once the registration process begins, candidates who have taken the NEET PG 2024 exam will be able to register for counselling through the official site, mcc.nic.in.
As per the information, the Supreme Court will also hear a plea concerning discrepancies in the NEET PG results and a demand for the release of the answer key on November 19.
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Steps to register
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘NEET PG Counselling 2024 registration’ (once the link is active).
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 5: Pay the required fee and click on submit.
Step 6: Take a printout of your application form for future reference.
