The Naval Dockyard Apprentices School (DAS), Visakhapatnam, under the Ministry of Defence (Navy), has announced the Navy Apprentice Recruitment 2024 for the Apprenticeship Training for 2025-26. A total of 275 vacancies are available across various trades. Interested candidates who have completed their ITI (Industrial Training Institute) from recognised institutions are invited to apply for the position.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation with at least 50% marks and an ITI certificate with 65% marks in relevant trades.
Age Limit: Candidates should be a minimum of 14 years of age. There is no upper age limit as per the Apprentices Act 1961.
Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the medical fitness requirements outlined by the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
Shortlisting: 70% weightage for SSC marks and 30% for ITI marks.
Written Examination: Held on February 28, 2025, consisting of 75 questions in Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge.
Interview: Includes document verification and technical skills assessment.
Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
