The Meghalaya Police has announced the cancellation of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for various posts. Candidates who participated in the PET can refer to the official notification on the Meghalaya Police website at megpolice.gov.in. According to the notice, the PET conducted on November 18 has been cancelled due to technical issues at the 1st MLP Battalion, Mawiong, and the 4th MLP Battalion, Sohpian.
Candidates appearing for the Physical Efficiency Test must review their details before downloading their admit cards. An online option to edit or correct information will be provided prior to generating the admit card. Those seeking a change in their PET date should submit an application to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board before the test begins.
Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test, which is evaluated out of 100 marks, will proceed to the written examination, followed by the interview round.
This recruitment campaign aims to fill 2,968 vacancies for positions such as Sub-Inspector, Constable, and others. The registration process commenced on April 1, 2024, and concluded on April 30, 2024.
