A woman was gang-raped after she humiliated a man who splashed mud on her while he was driving his motorcycle in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa. Two people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred on September 22 (Sunday) when the victim, a college student, was on her way to get her mobile repaired at a shop. She was kidnapped and taken to a desolate area where she was gang-raped.
During questioning, the main accused, Kishan Kol, said he was travelling on a road that had a lot of mud on his motorcycle. He said the mud splashed on the woman who was walking on the roadside. The accused said he was humiliated by the woman in front of a huge crowd, which embarrassed him.
Angered by the humiliation, the accused decided to teach the victim a lesson.
On September 22, Kishan Kol and his friend Santlal kidnapped the woman and took her behind the bushes, where they committed the crime.
The woman informed her family about the incident, following which a complaint was filed. The victim’s statement was recorded and her medical examination was conducted.
Based on the woman’s complaint and statement, the two accused were arrested.
