Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan and filmmaker Kabir Khan visited the Supreme Court of India on Friday (January 17) and attended the proceedings of the top court.
While speaking to the media while leaving the courtroom, Kartik Aaryan called it a “lovely experience”, adding that they visited the top court as they “wanted to watch the proceedings”.
Responding to India Today’s question about whether there’s a possibility of Kabir Khan directing a courtroom drama anytime soon, Khan said, “Let’s see. This has been very interesting.”
In August 2024, director Kiran Rao and actor Aamir Khan also witnessed Supreme Court proceedings when they visited the Supreme Court for the screening of their movie, Laapataa Ladies. Supreme Court judges along with their spouses had watched the movie on the SC premises.
Actor Randeep Hooda had also, in September 2024, attended the proceedings of the top court. Later on, when he spoke to the media, Hooda said he was really overwhelmed with the way it was since he had only seen it in movies.
