Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1 is set for its highly anticipated release in Japan on March 28, 2025. The film’s Japan release will be handled by Twin, the distributor responsible for Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. Apart from Jr NTR, the film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s South debut.
In India, Devara Part 1 received overwhelming support from fans, earning nearly Rs 300 crore nett in just three weeks. Jr NTR expressed his gratitude for the fans’ love, crediting the audience for the film’s success.

As per reports, Japan ticket sales for Devara Part 1 will open on January 3, 2025. Jr NTR, who has garnered a huge fanbase in Japan, especially after RRR, is thrilled about the release.
A fan recently shared a video of the actor promising a Japanese fan that the film would be released in their country. “He kept his promise and is bringing Devara to Japan on March 28th, 2025,” the fan wrote on X.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 is an action drama, which features Jr NTR in two roles – as father Devara and son Varadha. The film also marks Janhvi and Saif Ali Khan’s debut in Telugu. Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan and Murali Sharma are a part of the supporting cast. It released in India on September 27.

Jr NTR is currently working on his upcoming project, Hrithik Roshan’s War 2. The action thriller marks his Bollywood debut and his first with YRF. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is set for release on August 14, 2025.
