Bigg Boss Tamil 8 Highlights: Jeffrey, Anshida evicted, ticket to finale task begins

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 saw double eviction yet again this weekend. While Jeffrey was eliminated on December 28, Anshida was evicted from the show on December 29. Vijay Sethupathi reminded the contestants about the remaining three weeks and announced the ‘Ticket to finale’ task. After a series of double evictions, 10 contestants remain on the show and one of them will win a direct ticket to the finals later this week.

The Saturday episode began with a few highlights from Friday. Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai 2 was screened inside the Bigg Boss Tamil 8 house. He then asked the contestants what they liked about the film.

VIJAY SETHUPATHI ASKS CONTESTANTS ABOUT FAMILY TASK

Vijay Sethupathi talked about how the contestants turned into kids when their families visited. He also opened up about what he liked when each family visited.

The host then asked the contestants if they had any difference of opinion regarding what their family members shared with them. The housemates then explained their thoughts and how their arrival brought them joy and peace.

JEFFREY ELIMINATED FROM SHOW

Vijay Sethupathi then announced that there was an eviction on December 28. He then announced Jeffrey’s name and called him one of his favourites. The contestants were shocked to learn that one of the strongest contestants was eliminated from the show.

Anshida and Soundariya were moved to tears and hugged him. Deepak was shocked and was at a loss of words. Jeffrey broke down and told Jacqueline that he was not a person who befriends anyone with an ulterior motive. He said that he needed to tell her today as he was going to leave.

VIJAY SETHUPATHI ASKS HOUSEMATES REGARDING PUBLIC VOTING

Vijay Sethupathi reminded the contestants that only three weeks were remaining and that they had to bring in their A-game. He asked the housemates to pick a person who the audiences shouldn’t vote for. Majority of the contestants picked Raanav, stating that he spoils everyone’s game. Muthukumaran picked Soundariya and said that her hard work was less when compared to other contestants.

ANSHIDA ELIMINATED

Vijay Sethupathi then asked the nominated contestants to sit together. He then asked them to predict who would go out. While majority of the contestants named Raanav, it was Anshida who received fewer votes. She said that she was happy to go home and gave some tips to her housemates.

SETHUPATHI ANNOUNCES TICKET TO FINALE TASK

Vijay Sethupathi bid goodbye to Anshida and met the remaining housemates. He announced the ‘Ticket to finale’ task and introduced the special card and asked the contestants to give their best.

According to reports, the ongoing week will see 10 different tasks and the person with the higher number of points wins the direct ticket to the finale.
