Arvind Kejriwal launched an attack on the BJP, accusing it of tampering with voter lists in the national capital under a scheme he called “Operation Lotus”. Kejriwal claimed that the BJP has been directing this operation since December 15 to impact the forthcoming state assembly elections.
“In my New Delhi Assembly constituency, Operation Lotus has been active since December 15. Applications to delete 5,000 voters were submitted in the last 15 days. Additionally, applications to add 7,500 voters have been filed. Manipulations are taking place in 12% of the votes,” Kejriwal said.
