AR Rahman makes first post after divorce news, shares his Hollywood award win

Music maestro AR Rahman added another feather to his cap. The Oscar and Grammy award-winning composer won the Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) 2024 for Best Background Score (Foreign Language) for the Malayalam film Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life, directed by Blessy. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Rahman expressed his gratitude, calling the win an ‘incredible honour’ and extended his thanks to the film’s team and his fans.

The video was shared on the official Instagram page of the film. It featured AR Rahman, where he says that he is ‘deeply grateful’ to the Hollywood Music In Media for recognising the score. It also shows Blessy receiving the award, acknowledging the hard work of Rahman and the entire team in bringing the film’s vision to life. The post thanked the audience for their support and love. Rahman and his wife, Saira Banu, announced their decision to part ways after 29 years of marriage.
