The Oscar and Grammy award-winning composer won the Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) 2024 for Best Background Score (Foreign Language) for the Malayalam film Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life, directed by Blessy. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Rahman expressed his gratitude, calling the win an ‘incredible honour’ and extended his thanks to the film’s team and his fans.
