An ambulance transporting the bodies of three Khalistan Zindabad Force terrorists, killed in a joint operation by Punjab and Uttar Pradesh Police, was damaged in a road accident late on Monday night. No casualties were reported.

The incident occurred near the Sanwariya Farm area on the Rampur bypass when an unidentified vehicle collided with the ambulance. Rampur Police quickly responded, transferring the bodies from the damaged vehicle to another ambulance, which continued its journey to Punjab.

Confirming that the bodies have been immediately shifted to another vehicle after the crash, Rampur Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra said, “The ambulance carrying the bodies from Pilibhit to Punjab was hit by an unknown vehicle, damaging it.”

The three terrorists were killed in Puranpur, Pilibhit, during an encounter with a joint team of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh Police. Authorities recovered two AK-47 rifles, two Glock pistols, and a large cache of ammunition during the operation.

After the post-mortem and legal formalities, the bodies were being transported to Punjab when the accident occurred. The swift action by Rampur Police ensured the situation was resolved without further complications.
