The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online registration window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 today, January 13, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to Classes 6 and 9 can complete the registration process on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE. The examination fee payment window will close tomorrow, January 14, 2025. NTA will announce the AISSEE 2025 examination date soon. The examination will be held in Pen and Paper mode and will have multiple choice questions.
AISSEE 2025: Steps to apply
Candidates can follow these steps to register for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘AISSEE 2025 – Click here to login/register’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on submit.
Step 6: Take a printout of your application for future reference.

AISSEE 2025: Eligibility Criteria
For Class 6: Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years old as of 31.03.2025. Admission for girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.
For Class 9: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years old as of 31.03.2025 and must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school at the time of admission. Admission for girls is open for Class IX, subject to the availability of vacancies.
