NEET SS 2024 exam scheme revised: Check important details here

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced changes to the examination format for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2024. According to the notification available on natboard.edu.in, two subjects in the exam will now have distinct question papers.
Separate question papers will be provided for admission to the following courses:

  • DM/DrNB Medical Oncology
  • DM/DrNB Critical Care Medicine

The board specified that the questions in these papers will be exclusively from the relevant groups.

These modifications were made by the NBEMS following instructions from the National Medical Commission (NMC). Additionally, the eligibility criteria for DM, MCh, and DrNB admissions will adhere to the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, along with any updates or amendments issued by the NMC over time.
The eligibility-cum-ranking test for Super Specialty courses is tentatively scheduled for March 29 and 30, 2025. The final exam schedule and information bulletin will be made available on natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in in due course.
The board confirmed that the remainder of the examination scheme will remain consistent with what was published in the NEET SS 2023 information bulletin.
The official notification stated, “ The prior entry eligible feeder qualifications for admissions to DM/MCh/DrNB courses shall be strictly in accordance with Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, and any clarification/amendments issued from NMC time to time in this regard.”
