A 14-year-old boy from Amidalagondi village in Madakasira mandal, Satya Sai district, was found dead in a forest near the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border. The boy was a Class 8 student at the local government school.
The victim went missing on Wednesday. His parents filed a complaint with the Madakasira police, following which a search operation was launched. On Thursday, his body was discovered in a forest area in Karnataka.
The police have started an investigation and are questioning several suspects. The events leading to the boy’s death are not yet clear.
